Victorian Premier Dan Andrews is set to announce the state has recorded a further 725 cases of coronavirus, overtaking their previous highest amount of 723.
In addition a further 15 people have lost their lives to the disease, the youngest a man in his 30’s.
NSW have recorded a dozen cases of the disease overnight.
Queensland have now shut their borders to anyone from NSW or ACT.
Dan Andrews put out a message to all school children this morning to wish them well in their remote learning.
To all our students – from our very youngest, to those in their final year:
I'm so proud of you. Keep working hard. You've got this.
